They call themselves Aqua Teen Hunger Force

Arrival at the Water Line

  • Plinko is dying because of the hot sun.
  • The party arrives at the Water Line, a drink bar.
  • Celina and Plinko run into Daedalus, who is also thirsty and sympathetic to Plinko’s plight.
  • They face a long line at the bar.
  • The party convinces others in line to step aside.
    • A Meletian woman moves out of the way.
    • A young Satessian man, not very bright, recognizes Daedalus and calls for a guard.
  • The party spots two minotaurs, one white and one black.
  • Daedalus smacks them on the back to get their attention, thinking it is harmless
    • The minotaurs, confused, accuse him of assault.
    • Daedalus convinces them it was harmless; they relent.
    • They reveal themselves as Hieromancers with Mogis’ sigils.
    • They allow the party to move to the front of the line.
  • The guard arrives but sees the “old man” (Daedalus) is fine.
    • Warns the Satessian man that false reports are a crime but commends him for trying to protect his elders and countrymen.

Entering the Kolophon

  • The party reaches immigration, where they receive their passports.
  • The immigration officer warns:

    “If you leave, you’ll meet Athreos earlier than most, and they don’t provide gold coins.”

Exploring the Market

  • The party visits two markets:
    1. Apothecary – They purchase:
      • (1) 1 HP potion
      • (2) 2 HP potions
      • (1) 4 HP potion
      • (1) Mana potion
      • (1) Sketchy Mana Potion (50% success rate)
      • They are warned that Mogis (silently mouthed) is anathema.
    2. Kiros Gyro & Armor – Purchases:
      • (2) sets of studded leather armor

Announcement of the Games

  • Giorgio, the announcer, declares the games are beginning.
  • The Minotaur Hieromancers are present.
  • Prize: The winner of the games receives a boon from the Diarchy, which could be wealth, fame, or power.
  • Teams are randomly assigned; the party is placed together.

First Round: The Kereberos Trial

  • The party calls themselves Aqua Teen Hunger Force.
  • Opponent: The Undertaker (1 vs. 3)
  • Objective: Score points by subduing the Kereberos.
  • The Undertaker maliciously attacks the Kereberos.
    • The Kereberos eats him.
  • The party subdues the creature nonviolently.
  • Kereberos convulses and is on its side.
  • A dark specter emerges from the convulsing Kereberos, declaring:

    “There’s not nearly enough red. There will be crimson to fuel the Requiem.”

  • The Kereberos dies, shocking the crowd.
  • MC Alexander names Aqua Teen Hunger Force the winners.

Spirited Away by Iroas

  • The party is whisked away by Iroas, who sounds like Mark Wahlberg.
  • Iroas praises them for their nonviolent approach.
  • He warns them: Mogis seeks to turn the games into a bloodbath.
  • Iroas wants to preserve peace through the games.
  • As a boon, he cures Plinko’s back pain.

Return & Meeting Coach Gianni

  • The party returns to reality and meets their coach, Gianni.
  • Rewards:
    • A certificate of credit to purchase essentials from the commissary.
  • Gianni advises them to rest—breakfast will be served in the morning.
