Session #1.5

It’s 8pm and the party is spending the night at the athlete’s quarters. Daedulus, Plinkö and Celina are going about their separate ways for the night. The split into two groups: Daedulus and Celina with Plinkö.

Both groups go out and find out they can leave the quarters and explore the town. Daedulus goes out to gather information and Celina and Plinkö go to the baths.

They find out that if they don’t get back before 8am they will be disqualified from the games. Daedulus finds out that they will receive a large bill if they are disqualified.

Daedulus

  • Retires to his quarters to secretly write a report on a scroll that is magicked away.
  • Later, he gathers information in town:
    • Speaks to a guard about a
      • Competitor who is very strong.
      • Has the ability to appear as she has multiple arms
      • Very mysterious
      • Wears fine linen
    • He finds out that the will be charged a large bill if they are disqualified.
    • Visits the market and buys tea.
    • Maps out the town.
      • Visits the Botanist Guild, where he learns Akros placed a large order for all the nightshade and drug plants.
        • Daedulus buys some flowers to make a flower crown for Plinkö and Celina.
      • Visits the Sailors’ Guild, where he observes many Meletians and learns about a partnership between Meletis and Akros.
  • At 10 PM, he gifts Plinkö and Celina D. Coh flower by putting them on their beds before retiring.

Plinkö & Celina D. Coh

  • Visit the baths at the athlete’s quarters.
  • Snack at the spa and encounter:
    • A Meletian woman from earlier.
    • Two Akroan women, who share wine.
      • Plinkö gets drunk.
  • Move to a cooler pool area and meet more Akroan women, along with Selene.
  • Plinkö appears to be drowning as part of a dramatic scene, but he is fine.
  • A woman stands up from the pool,
    • Selene notices them and cryptically says,

    • “I get the feeling I will see you tomorrow.”

      • Has a gaze that looks at and past someone, as if she is looking through them
      • Very mysterious
      • Wears fine linen
  • At 10 PM, after a harrowing encounter at the baths, they leave two figs that they got from the baths next to Daedulus’s door.

Closing Scene

  • Plinkö and Celina D. Coh discuss Selene:
    • Celina D. Coh is unbothered.
    • Plinkö is scared.
  • Daedulus retires to his quarters.
    • He knows about Selene but not her name or what she looks like

Character Perspectives

  • Celina D. Coh:
    • Sees Plinkö as a little brother/pet.
    • Sees Daedulus as an uncle.
  • Daedulus:
    • Views the others as students.
  • Plinkö:
    • Thinks Celina D. Coh is the nicest person ever.
    • Finds Daedulus intimidating.
